NBA Playoffs: Raptors Beat the Heat in OT

In last night’s game, involving the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors, the Raptors took away a victory in the midst of overtime. The final score was 96-92 the Heat lost by four. DeMarre Carroll leading the Raptors with 21 points, also DeMar DeRozen played 42 minutes with 20 points in last night’s game. Goran Dragic lead the Heat with 20 points, including the tying three with eleven seconds to send it to OT. Jonas Valanciunas grabbed a key rebound late in the game which resulted in a two point bucket. Dwayne Wade said after the game.”If they get offensive rebounds, they’re a tough team to beat.” Wade kept the game alive in the fourth quarter by hitting a three, but only to see Kyle Lowry knock down a quick jump shot. Then the Heat were forced to take a timeout. With just fourteen seconds on the clock Goran Dragic hit a three to force overtime. After multiple missed shots by both teams the Toronto Raptors finally took a larger lead of six with 1:06 on the clock in OT. At twenty four seconds Luol Deng made a dunk, but that still left 24 seconds on the clock. Then after a flurry of made free throws by Toronto it only left a couple seconds for the Heat to play with. So the Raptors knock down the Heat in OT to tie the series 1-1.
