Spur’s Kawhi Leonard collected 31 points and eleven rebounds in last night’s defeat of the Thunder. On the other side though, Russell Westbrook got 31 points also and nine rebounds, and eight assists. Westbrook went just 10-31 from the field, He said after the game that “I take the blame.” With just seven seconds on the clock Dion Waiters made a floater to put them down by two. But then with three seconds left Andre Roberson was forced to foul Kawhi Leonard, Leonard made both putting the Thunder down by four. And because of Westbrook’s missed three at the end of the game the OKC Thunder lost by four. In Friday night’s game the Thunder did a better job of stopping LeMarcus Aldridge, Aldridge was 8 for 21 from the field. Even with Westbrook nearing another triple-double the Thunder still lose 100-96. Spur’s LeMarcus Aldridge played a whopping 44 minutes in the whole game! So Kawhi Leonard’s 31 points come in handy as the Spurs move to 2-1 on the Thunder.
