In Saturday’s game three match up between the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Trailblazers the Trailblazers stunned the Warriors in a 120-108 victory for the Blazers. Portland’s Damian Lillard accumulated 40 points and ten assists. Draymond Green on the other hand got 37 points, eight assists, and nine rebounds. The Warriors now lead the series by 1 in a 2-1 series, Al-Farouq Aminu also leading Portland to victory with 23 points and ten rebounds. This time the Trailblazers finished the game in the fourth quarter and did a better job closing it up. Despite 72 combined for Green and Thompson the Blazers finally take advantage of no Steph Curry. “Now they’re feeling like they can do it,” Green said after the game. “We know otherwise. You can expect game 4 to be a battle.” Late in the fourth quarter though some would have said that the Warriors could still win, but Lillard closed the game with a couple threes that were matched by Draymond Green. But the Blazers still won 120-108 and the Warriors look to play a game four in Portland on Monday night. Steve Kerr said that Curry is Doubtful to play in game four.
