Kyle Lowry hit 33 points in Saturday’s matchup between the Toronto Raptors and the Miami Heat. The Raptors lead the series now at 2-1. Raptor’s Jonas Valanciunas left the game with an ankle injury and 16 points. Dwyane Wade lead the Heat with 38 points and eight rebounds, center Hassan Whiteside also left the game with a second quarter injury for the Heat. “Guys have to step up,” Wade said after the game. “Nobody can be Hassan Whiteside… We have to figure out a way.” With 3:35 to go in the fourth Joe Johnson hit his second free throw to shorten the Raptors lead to two. Then Wade knocked down a jump shot to give his team a lead of one with :54 seconds left. But with nine seconds left DeMar DeRozen gave his team a four point lead, which was just cut to one after Wade hit a three. In the end the Raptors won by four and took a one game lead in the series.
