KD Moves Thunder Past Spurs

KD pics on spurs.jpgKevin Durant had 37 points in Thursday night’s game six against the Spurs. Durant played 43 minutes and center Steven Adams played 40 minutes. The Spurs were a favorite for the west finals but now have lost to the Thunder. Russell Westbrook got 28 points and 12 assists. The Thunder went on a 15-3 run to close out the first half with a 55-31 lead. The Spurs never took a lead in the second half. Oklahoma City lost an embarrassing game in game one 124-92 but finished strong in game six, leading by as much as 28. The Thunder will now face the defending NBA champion the Golden State Warriors. “Golden State’s a great team,” Thunder coach Billy Donovan. “It will be a great challenge. We’ve got a little bit of time to prepare before we play, but right now, for us, it’s just to enjoy to opportunity to move on, get a chance to continue to play and get as prepared as we can going into game one.”
