The Golden State Warriors didn’t waste time showing the Cavaliers that this is not the east in game two of the NBA Finals. Draymond Green led the Warriors with 28 points and five threes. Stephen Curry, who got into some foul trouble early in the game, scored 18 points and nine rebounds. All in 25 minutes. Green lit up the three-points line in the second quarter where he hit 3 of his five threes. Golden State surprisingly trailed by two at the start of the second quarter, but then they took over by outscoring the Cavs 33-23 in the second. In game two the splash brothers were not so cold from three, Curry splashed four threes and Thompson made three. The Warrior’s bench again outscored the Cavs 31-40. This time Leandro Barbosa led the way with ten points. Andrew Bogut started the game with four blocks in one quarter and then left the game for a while, but returned later to get another block. The Warriors shot 46% from three to Cleveland’s 22%. Kevin Love left the game with a possible concussion. LeBron dealt Andre Igoudala another blow to the groin. LeBron James collected 7 turnovers in the game, Curry had six. Cleveland was not at all ready for the Warriors, Golden State has been running all over them and I don’t think thats going to change. The Warrior’s starters outscored the Cleveland starters 47-70, that’s seven less then Cleveland’s whole team! So far Draymond Green is my projection for the NBA Finals MVP. Game 3 is on Wednesday in Cleveland at 8:00.
